Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Joe Spencer (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Hiro Nohara (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 12 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Joe Spencer!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 12 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Hiro Nohara!
The judges for this bout are William Peck, Gregory Folan and Elvis Blanc.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nohara misses with a body shot.
Spencer fails with the takedown.
Nohara connects with a hook to the side of his opponent's head.
Spencer fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Nohara.
Spencer connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Nohara's hands.
The crowd cheers as Spencer lands an impressive looking overhand right. Nohara doesn't seem phased though.
Spencer ducks under a wild hook from Nohara.

Ouch! a nice leg kick from Nohara, right into the meat.

We've been hearing reports that Spencer has been drilling takedowns in recent sessions so let's see if that has an impact on the result of this fight.

A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Spencer accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Well Nohara has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
