The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ali blocks a head kick by Roach.
Ali misses with a head kick.

Roach scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground.

Roach is trying to work for a kimura but Ali is defending well.

Roach is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Ali doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Roach.

Roach really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

Ali has hold of a guillotine but he's not going to be able to crank on it really with only half guard, so it's no trouble for Roach. Oh but Ali has got full guard now! Oh boy! This one could be over very soon! Roach goes limp - he's gone! Ali jumps up and celebrates with the crowd - fantastic submission finish!
