Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Maximo Farraro (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Andres Santiago (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

The judges for this bout are Alexandre Firmino, Leandro Rodrigues and Daniel Cesar.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Santiago takes a swing at Farraro's ribcage but misses.
Nice body punch from Farraro.
Farraro misses with a jab to the body
and Santiago counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Farraro moves away from the strike by Santiago.
Santiago tries a low kick but Farraro avoids it.
Santiago throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Farraro looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into side control! Oh, that's bad for Santiago!
We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.
Santiago avoids any damage from the ground and pound of Farraro.
Santiago tries to buck Farraro off but Farraro is having none of it.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
You can see the frustration on Santiago's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.

Farraro scores with a couple of nice shots to the head there. The referee takes a look at Santiago to see if he's OK.

Farraro is working for what looks like an arm triangle here. Santiago is trying to escape and Farraro transitions quickly into an armbar! He's slapped it on tight and Santiago is forced to tap! Nice work there by Farraro! Very nice indeed!
