Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Vladislav Munchkin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Joe Frazier (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 15 - 8 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Vladislav Munchkin!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 20 - 8 - 0, fighting out of New York, Joe Frazier!
The judges for this bout are Daniel Bishop, Richard Clark and Paul Tew.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Munchkin thuds his right hand into Frazier's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters.


It looks like Joe Frazier has been cut.
A nice leg kick lands there from Frazier.
Munchkin looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Munchkin wants to clinch.
Munchkin displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Frazier throws out the jab.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Frazier throws the kick towards the body but Munchkin avoids it.
Munchkin shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Frazier as he avoids it easily.

Frazier tries to score with an inside leg kick but telegraphs it and Munchkin is able to avoid easily.

Munchkin shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Frazier is trying to defend but Munchkin finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.
We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.

The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Munchkin lands a nice short elbow.
Munchkin is nestled in close to Frazier, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.
Frazier is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Munchkin seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime.

Munchkin misses with a head shot. Frazier uses the momentum to regain guard.
Munchkin tries to free his leg and advance position but Frazier is retaining full guard.

Frazier is doing well to control the posture of his opponent and prevent any damage.

Munchkin throws an elbow that misses. Frazier uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Munchkin's guard. Nice move by Frazier!

The fight stays on the outside here - Munchkin looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Munchkin tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Frazier manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Munchkin throws a lazy right hand but Frazier sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Frazier slaps away a takedown attempt from Munchkin, before circling back to the center of the mat.
Frazier shuffles to his left behind two crisp jabs. Munchkin eats them both and turns towards Frazier to reposition himself and eats a stinging right hand-left hook combo.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Frazier has been looking to improve his clinch game in recent weeks. Munchkin seems to have the measure of him in the clinch so far, so let's see if Frazier can turn it around.

We're going to have a standup here because Vladislav Munchkin wasn't active enough for the referee's liking.
Munchkin fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Frazier avoids it really well and circles away.

Well Munchkin has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
