Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Gustavo Santos (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Travis Fulton (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Fulton swings wildly with a couple of big hooks

so Santos counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility.
Santos looks exhausted already! Oh dear, he should have come in in better shape than this!
Fulton has Santos pulled in close to control his posture.

Fulton has managed to wall walk up one of the corner posts to get back to his feet. Santos is pushing him up against the cage, looking to control the position.

Fulton escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Fulton slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.

Fulton gets to his feet - Santos follows without any prompting.

Fulton scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground.

Santos is bucking up trying to escape but Fulton cracks him with another couple of good strikes.

Let's hope that Fulton has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.

The referee warns Santos that he has to improve his position here as he takes two more clean shots to the head.

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup.

Fulton is working for a guillotine from mount but Santos frees his head quite easily.

Fulton throws an overhand right that lands on Santos 's shoulder, as Santos tries to avoid the shot.
Fulton will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
