Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Pablo Merritt (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Isamu Li (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Li has chosen Disturbed - Enough as his entrance music. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Yuuki Gou, Tatsuya Matsuyama and Kenichi Hosakawa.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Li defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Merritt.
The fight moves into the clinch position.
Merritt is trying to slow down the pace of the fight but Li is keeping busy.
Come on Merritt - let's have some action - none of this stalling nonsense.
Li manages to pull guard. Let's see whether he can land a sub off his back.

Li takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Merritt manages to get back to half guard.
Li decides to stand up and try his luck on the feet.
Li stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Li wants it to stay on the feet.

Li manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Merritt on his heels. He'll look to pass Merritt's guard now, I'm sure.

OK we're going to have a standup here. Isamu Li hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart.

A momentary lapse in concentration from Merritt enables Li to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Merritt manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.

Li stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Merritt swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Li is maintaining the dominant position - no doubt Merritt will start to get frustrated soon if he's not already.

The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

Isamu Li comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
Well Li has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
