The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Buckner slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.
Baumgardner wants to sweep here but Buckner controlling him for the moment.

Baumgardner had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Buckner is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Baumgardner Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Buckner's back instead.

Buckner won't enjoy being in this position. Baumgardner looking for the choke. Oh... he's slipped the arm under the neck - Buckner is tapping - it's over boys! Baumgardner picks up the submission victory!
