The judges for this bout are Donatello Bradman, Francis DeMontford and Darius Henderson.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Stevens fails in his attempt to clinch.
Santos throws a lazy right hand but Stevens sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Santos tries to bum rush Stevens with a series of wild strikes but Stevens uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Stevens blocks a jab.
Santos closes the distance and lands a one-two.
It looks like Frank Stevens has been cut.
Stevens drops his hands momentarily and Santos takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Santos scores with a decent looking hook.
Stevens throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
Santos circles and sees the opportunity to plant his feet and throw a really nice straight left hand that drops Stevens to the canvas! Stevens doesn't know where he is but he's trying to survive - Santos keeps piling on the pressure and forces the referee to step in! This one is aaaaaall over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:37 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Junior Dos Santos!
A relieved looking Junior Dos Santos thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
