Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Mateusz Ciechan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Magomed Magomedov (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Magomed Magomedov!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Magomedov fails with a takedown attempt.
Ciechan slaps away a takedown attempt from Magomedov, before circling back to the center of the mat.
Magomedov fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
Mateusz Ciechan has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Magomed Magomedov.

Magomedov shoots in and bounces Ciechan off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.
We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon.
Magomedov throws a strike but Ciechan rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.
Magomedov is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Ciechan is controlling him.

Ciechan seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.

Ciechan gets to his feet. Magomedov looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son!
Magomedov fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.

Ciechan closes the distance and pushes Magomedov back into the cage.
Ciechan is trying to wear down his opponent with knees to the body.
Ciechan landing knees to the head.

It looks like Magomed Magomedov has been cut.
Magomedov looks winded!

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Come on Ciechan - let's have some action - none of this stalling nonsense.
Ciechan looks to be in better condition than last time we saw him fight. Obviously he's been working hard on his cardio.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Ciechan drops Magomedov with a big knee straight up the middle! Magomedov is covering up against the cage but manages to escape and gets back to his feet!

Magomedov is rocked!
I'm just looking down at my notes here and I see that.... oh! Ciechan has cracked Magomedov with a big right, followed by a left! He's out on his feet! Ciechan lands another huge swinging hook and Magomedov tumbles to the canvas! The ref dives in to save Magomedov, before Ciechan can land any more shots!
