Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Modesto Carpenter (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Slidu Takayama (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Takayama has chosen Slayer - Raining Blood as his entrance music. We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Some wild striking there from Takayama.
A slapping leg kick lands for Takayama.
Takayama connects with a jab.

It looks like Modesto Carpenter has been cut.

Carpenter gets caught napping as Takayama dives in and scores a takedown. Carpenter manages to retain guard.
Carpenter wants to sweep but no luck.
Takayama throwing strikes but missing.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Carpenter wants to stand but Takayama is controlling the position.
Takayama trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.
Takayama trying to control but Carpenter is working from the bottom.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Carpenter utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.

Carpenter kicks Takayama off and gets to his feet.

Carpenter tries to clinch up.
Takayama changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Carpenter tries to avoid it but Takayama manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Carpenter to the ground. Carpenter escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Takayama throws a nice looking combination but Carpenter bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Carpenter takes a shot to the body in his stride.
Carpenter lands with a slapping head kick.
The fighters circling - Takayama throws out the jab but it was never going to land.

Takayama closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Carpenter did well to prevent Takayama getting side control.
Takayama looks to land a strike but Carpenter avoids it nicely and regains full guard.
Carpenter wants to stand up but Takayama is controlling him.
Takayama must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.
Carpenter is breathing heavily.

Takayama won't allow Carpenter to get back to his feet.
We're hearing some news coming in from back stage. It's official - Takayama has eaten all the pies!

Carpenter is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
Carpenter has a butterfly guard looking to sweep but Takayama has passed into side control.

Carpenter sneaks out the side door and pushes Takayama away - he's back to his feet. The crowd show their appreciation for the escape.
Takayama shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Carpenter as he avoids it easily.

Takayama clinches.
Takayama lands a left hand.

Takayama wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Carpenter has him pressed against the cage.
Takayama lands with a good tight uppercut to the head.

Carpenter is rocked!

Oh Carpenter is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!

Takayama breaks the clinch.
Slidu Takayama seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Carpenter thows a left - swing and a miss!
Takayama is throwing a storm of strikes! Right hook, left hook and follows it up with a spinning back fist! Carpenter hits the canvas like a rag doll! And just like that, this one is over!

A relieved looking Slidu Takayama thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
