Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Phil Pla!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
1 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Arjen Blaauwendraat!
The judges for this bout are Dillan Fox, Elvis Blanc and Gregory Folan.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
The fight stays on the outside here - Pla looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Pla tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Blaauwendraat paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Pla lands a big head kick that sends Blaauwendraat to the canvas! Pla follows up with strikes from the mount that forces the ref to step in and stop the fight!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:11 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Phil Pla!
A very excited looking Phil Pla rambled incoherently for about 5 minutes post fight about how awesome he is. It was kinda funny for a while but then everyone got annoyed.
