Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Kacper Glowacki (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Oscar Rivas (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Glowacki's entrance music is Teenange Mutant Ninja Turtles intro. A fine choice. Rivas has chosen Cypress Hill-Insane in the Membrane as his entrance music. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Kacper Glowacki!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Oscar Rivas!
The judges for this bout are Steve Smith, Yves DeLean and Robert Douchet.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rivas is trying hard to land a takedown here. Glowacki sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.
Rivas has been working on his striking defense in training and it's paying off as Glowacki is landing a low percentage of strikes.
Glowacki looks to throw the jab but Rivas is out of range.
Rivas scores with a sloppy right hand. Glowacki should have avoided that one.
Rivas misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Glowacki.

Rivas connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there.
Wow, both these guys are really going for it!
Rivas lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Glowacki circles away quickly and effectively.

Rivas lands a jab followed by a vicious hook that sends Glowacki sprawling to the canvas. Rivas follows him down, looking for the kill. Can Glowacki hang on?

It looks like Kacper Glowacki has been cut.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Rivas is taking a breather. Glowacki says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something.
Oh Glowacki is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!

Glowacki looking for submissions from an awkward position here.
Rivas really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Glowacki. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
It looks like Rivas is going to stand back up.
Glowacki is refusing to be controlled, as Rivas sits in half guard.

Rivas looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.
Glowacki is looking to improve his position.
Rivas wants to lay and pray for a moment but Glowacki keeps working.
Glowacki seems to have got his legs back now.

Rivas is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.

The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Rivas connects with a nice short shot to Glowacki's temple.
Rivas is trying to control the action in half guard but Glowacki is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard.
Rivas seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime.

Rivas tries to stand but his arm is trapped.

Rivas wants to control from the top but Glowacki keeps moving.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Rivas is working Glowacki over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes.

Glowacki looking for a guillotine here but Rivas defends easily.
Both fighters really going for it on the ground here!

Glowacki is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.
Glowacki tries to land a sweep but no joy.
Rivas is working Glowacki over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes.

Glowacki escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Rivas gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Glowacki is breathing heavily.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Rivas gets to his feet. Glowacki looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son!

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Rivas wants to clinch up but Glowacki keeps it at a distance.
Rivas defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Glowacki.
Glowacki drops his hands momentarily and Rivas takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head.
Glowacki misses with an uppercut.
Rivas throws a two punch combo that lands nicely.
Rivas closes this distance looking for a takedown but Glowacki circles away.
Glowacki misses with a hook
and Rivas connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Rivas shoots for a double leg takedown but Glowacki sprawls well. He's pushed Rivas's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Kacper Glowacki has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Oscar Rivas.
Rivas leaves Glowacki with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
Rivas drops a shoulder and throws an uppercut that cracks Glowacki right on the button. Glowacki goes down! Rivas follows him to the mat and finishes the job with more strikes! Rivas gets the win via TKO!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:47 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Oscar Rivas!
Oscar Rivas seemed lost for words in his post fight interview but he remembered to thank his fans and directed everyone to his website.
In defeat, Kacper Glowacki stepped up to the mic, saying 'I'm too small for 185. I want to move one to 170 !'.
