Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Frank Dennis, Cecil Peabody and Gwen Towbar.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Verde throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Obrien was covering up waiting for the punch and Verde finishes the takedown easily into guard.
Verde with a nice head shot there.
Verde has gone for a leg lock! Obrien slips out almost immediately though and dives into Verde's guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Obrien is posturing up here but Verde has hold of an arm and he's gone for an armbar! Obrien tries to roll out but it's too tight and Obrien has to tap! Slick submission there by Verde!
