The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Olsen throws a head kick but Julianus moves out of range.

Julianus shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Julianus showed some decent athleticism there.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Still in half guard, Julianus seems content to control.
Olsen has hold of Julianus's hands but Julianus slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow.

Julianus has hold of Olsen's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Olsen manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.
