Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Silik Hunt (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Bartek Pietrzak (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Hunt comes into the arena with London Calling blaring out of the sound system. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 29 - 22 - 0, fighting out of London, Silik Hunt!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 20 - 7 - 0, fighting out of London, Bartek Pietrzak!
The judges for this bout are Steven Brown, William Gold and James Glass.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Pietrzak changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Hunt looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon.
An elbow from Pietrzak crashes against the mat.
Hunt is positioning himself to get back to half guard.
Hunt is working hard here to advance position.
Pietrzak is looking to take a break and control but Hunt is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
Hunt can't do much from the bottom here.

Pietrzak looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything.
Hunt tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Pietrzak wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.

Pietrzak wants to lay and pray for a moment but Hunt keeps working.
Hunt prevents Pietrzak from improving position.
Pietrzak misses with an attempted head punch from side control.
Hunt tries to buck Pietrzak off but Pietrzak is having none of it.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Hunt is trying to improve his position.
Hunt is in a tricky position but he's been working on his transitions down at ~T~ Troid - Gym, so we'll see if he gets out of it.
Hunt manages to land a sweep and he's now on top! Lovely Jiu Jitsu!

Pietrzak is looking to get full guard. It looks like he might be successful but at the last minute Hunt jumps into side control!
Pietrzak tries to buck Hunt off but Hunt is having none of it.
Pietrzak is trying to control Hunt's posture but Hunt avoids it.
Pietrzak tries to bench press Hunt off him but Hunt keeps the position.
A bit of a lull in the action. I'm sure it will pick up again soon... even if the ref has to physically pick them up and put them back on their feet.
Pietrzak is looking for a sweep.
Hunt trying to control the position but Pietrzak is working away.
Pietrzak is trying to control Hunt's posture but Hunt avoids it.
Pietrzak tries to bench press Hunt off him but Hunt keeps the position.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Pietrzak looks to move to half guard but instead Hunt has passed into mount! Damn!

Hunt tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Hunt content just to control the position here.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up, due to lack of activity on the part of Silik Hunt.
Hunt thows a body shot but no joy.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Pietrzak fails with the takedown.
Nice sprawl there from Hunt as Pietrzak shoots in.
Pietrzak walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush.
Pietrzak throws the left hand but Hunt avoids the punch easily.
Hunt throws the kick towards the body but Pietrzak avoids it.
An inside leg kick lands from Pietrzak.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
A cross from Hunt lands.
Pietrzak cracks the inside of Hunt's front leg.
Pietrzak swings and misses with a hook to the body.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Hunt lands a pitter patter jab to the forehead of his opponent.
Hunt dodges the punch combination from Pietrzak.
Pietrzak jabs Hunt right on the nose. Hunt blinks but takes it well.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

A close round but Bartek Pietrzak will probably get the nod.
That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.


Hunt blocks a head kick by Pietrzak.
Pietrzak tries to check the leg kick but that clearly hurt him.
Hunt throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Pietrzak stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
Hunt feints a jab promting Pietrzak to slip. Hunt then demonstrates his capabilities by jabbing again. Pietrzak slips again and ducks right into an uppercut.
Hunt's jab looks to have found its range, popping Pietrzak under the eye.
Hunt ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Pietrzak misses with a wild body shot.
Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Pietrzak.
Hunt takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.
Hunt throws a solid leg kick but Pietrzak takes the impact on his shin and smiles at Hunt.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Pietrzak.
Hunt blocks the body kick.
Pietrzak shoots for a double leg takedown but Hunt sprawls well. He's pushed Pietrzak's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.

That's one minute gone in the round.
A slapping leg kick lands for Hunt.
Pietrzak fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
A left lands for Pietrzak.
Pietrzak misses with a lunging right hand
and Hunt counters with a nice body shot.
Hunt takes a shot right to the bread basket.
Pietrzak takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.
Pietrzak looks to land a right hand but Hunt moved out of range.
Pietrzak tries to clinch but Hunt moves out of range.
Pietrzak shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Hunt sprawls well. Hunt wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Pietrzak gets slowly back to his feet.
Silik Hunt has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Bartek Pietrzak.
Pietrzak feints a jab promting Hunt to slip. Pietrzak then demonstrates his capabilities by jabbing again. Hunt slips again and ducks right into an uppercut.
Pietrzak scores with a jab to the body.
Hunt getting the better of the striking in that exchange.

That kick from Hunt tenderised Pietrzak's leg. Pietrzak is trying to keep his angry face on.
Silik Hunt is winning the standup battle so far.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Hunt lands with an overhand left.
Hunt punishes Pietrzak's body with a nice straight punch.
Silik Hunt is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
A punch lands to the side of Pietrzak 's head but he takes it in his stride.
Hunt takes one on the button.
Pietrzak throws an ugly left hook that misses
and Hunt counters with a stiff right hand.
Pietrzak misses with a body shot
and Hunt counters with a nice body shot.
Pietrzak avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
Hunt displaying good standup as he scores with a three punch combination.
Pietrzak scores with a three punch combo!
Hunt stuns Pietrzak with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range.
Hunt looks to score with a jab to the body but Pietrzak is just out of range.
The sound of bone on bone echoes around the arena as Hunt checks a leg kick.
Pietrzak tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Hunt defends well and Pietrzak ends up having to push Hunt into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch.

Pietrzak softening up his opponent with strikes, against the cage.
Hunt blocking some punches.
Hunt blocks a couple of punches on the inside.
Hunt is looking to break free of the clinch but Pietrzak has double underhooks.
Hunt lands with a left to the head.
Hunt is trying to work out of this bad position, with his back against the cage.
Pietrzak is trying to slow down the pace in the clinch, to catch his breath.
Pietrzak misses with a punch to the body.
Pietrzak misses with a punch on the inside.
Hunt blocking some punches.
Pietrzak lands with a short head shot on the inside.


Hunt is rocked!
Pietrzak pushes Hunt against the cage. Pietrzak is working some dirty boxing. Pietrzak pushes off with a quick right hook! Hunt goes down! Hunt tries to stand but stumbles back to his kness! Pietrzak moves in to finish and the ref steps in to prevent any more damage!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:48 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Bartek Pietrzak!
A relieved looking Bartek Pietrzak thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
