Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between John Beck (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Badr Hari (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Beck might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Seek n Destroy. Badr Hari has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Beck misses with an uppercut
and Hari finishes the little exchange by landing a big kick to the body.
John Beck seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Beck gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.
Hari must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.
Beck lands a beautiful sweep and he's now moved into his opponent's guard.
Beck tries to stand but Hari is controlling from the bottom.
We've been hearing good reports from Beck's training camp. Apparently he has been rolling around with some good quality BJJ practitioners and has been sharpening his skills. Let's see if that has an impact on the fight today.
Hari tries to land a sweep but no joy.
Hari told us pre-fight that he has been working on his escapes in training. Let's see if he can call on some of his new skills to get back to his feet.
Hari has a closed guard, preventing Beck from standing up.
Hari has control of Beck's left arm, preventing Beck from doing any damage.

Hari is working an open guard so Beck takes the opportunity to get back to his feet.

It looks like Badr Hari has been cut.

Beck lands a big uppercut and Hari crumbles to the floor! The ref thinks about stopping the fight but Hari looks OK. Beck waves Hari back to his feet!

Beck pounces like a tiger and cracks Hari with a vicious hook! Hari is down but not out! Beck follows up with more strikes forcing the ref to jump in and stop it!
