Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Winston Okafor (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Myron Echoes (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Echoes has chosen 'Tractor Rape Chain' as his entrance music. This should be fireworks!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Winston Okafor!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 7 - 1 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Myron Echoes!
The judges for this bout are James Ackerman, Chris Edwards and Donald Grub.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Echoes takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming.
Echoes throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Okafor sees it coming and avoids it easily.

Okafor gets a clinch.
A bit of stalling here from Okafor.
Echoes prevents a body shot from Okafor.
Echoes wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Okafor has him pressed against the cage.

Okafor breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Okafor lands with a straight right. Echoes didn't see that one coming.
Okafor throws a body kick but he was well out of range there.
Echoes wants to clinch
and Okafor counters with a nice low kick that buckles Echoes's knee momentarily.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Echoes misses with a wild body shot.
Okafor moves into range and lands a nice leg kick.
Okafor dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Echoes. That did some damage!

Okafor throws a leg kick which misses Echoes's front leg but catches the back leg as Echoes tries to avoid it.

Echoes closes the distance and pushes Okafor back into the cage.
A left hand lands to the body for Okafor.
Echoes throws a punch but it's blocked by Okafor.
Okafor has Echoes pushed against the cage.
Okafor lands a right hand that snaps the head of Echoes backwards.

Echoes trying to control the position but instead, Okafor has worked for underhooks and has pushed Echoes into the cage.

Okafor doesn't land with the attempted body shot.

Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Echoes is working on a leg, looking for a takedown but Okafor is defending well.

Okafor breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Echoes takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it.
Winston Okafor seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Echoes takes one to the side of the head.
Okafor lands a nice leg kick that just misses Echoes's sensitive parts.

Echoes throws a leg kick
and Okafor counters with a solid body kick.
Echoes looks winded!
Okafor comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.

Okafor clinches up with Echoes and pushes him back against the cage.
The pace slowing considerably in the clinch, as Okafor takes a break from that fighting nonsense to think about the finer things in life.
Echoes is working on a leg, looking for a takedown but Okafor is defending well.

The ref breaks the fighters up, due to lack of action by Winston Okafor.
Okafor fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Echoes.

Echoes fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Okafor avoids it really well and circles away.
Winston Okafor has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Myron Echoes.

Echoes takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.
Echoes's leg has a nasty welt from taking a succession of leg kicks. That must be slowing him down.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Ouch! a nice leg kick from Okafor, right into the meat.
Okafor lands a nice looking body shot.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.

Echoes has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from Okafor.
Echoes avoids the body shot from Okafor.
Echoes fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
Okafor is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Echoes can do to turn this around?

Echoes fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Okafor avoids it really well and circles away.
Okafor looks to land a left hand but Echoes moved out of range nicely.

Echoes is breathing heavily.
Okafor connects with an inside leg kick.

Okafor feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends Echoes sprawling to the canvas! Echoes rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can Okafor finish him?!

Okafor cracks Echoes with a big right hand that sends him to the floor! Echoes looks wobbly but he's sprung back up to his feet straight away… can Okafor finish him?

Echoes is rocked!

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Okafor cracks Echoes with a hook to the temple - Echoes is on wobbly legs here! Okafor swarms him with hook after hook, landing with each one! Echoes falls to the canvas face first and the referee dives in to stop the fight! Okafor wins by TKO!
