Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Edinger Nucleus!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
2 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Jason Legere!
The judges for this bout are Robert Douchet, Ian Loll and Elvis Blanc.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nucleus lands a beauty of a right hand that gets the crowd cheering.
Nucleus showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Legere.
Nucleus shoots in but Legere avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Legere uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Nucleus.
Nucleus looks to score with a jab to the body but Legere is just out of range.
Nucleus with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Legere to score with a decent uppercut.
Legere throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Nucleus.
Legere throws a hook to the side of Nucleus's head but Nucleus sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Nucleus looking to take his opponent's legs away with the low kicks.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Nucleus throws a nice inside leg kick.
Jason Legere seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Legere looks winded!
Legere misses with a wild body shot.
Nucleus wants to clinch.
Nucleus scores with a spinning back kick!
That's one minute gone in the round.
Nucleus lands a jab to the nose.
It looks like Jason Legere has been cut.
Legere on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot.
Ouch! a nice leg kick from Nucleus, right into the meat.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
A solid leg kick lands there for Nucleus.
Legere switches off momentarily and Nucleus cracks him with a monster right hand! Legere topples backwards and makes a semi conscious attempt to cover up, as Nucleus dives in to land one more shot, before the referee has time to call the fight. What a finish by Nucleus!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:22 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Edinger Nucleus!
