Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Eddy Royal!
The judges for this bout are Ben Hemmingworth, Skip Squint and Damien Edna.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Case takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.
Case bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
Case lands a decent elbow from side control.
A bit of a lull in the action. I'm sure it will pick up again soon... even if the ref has to physically pick them up and put them back on their feet.
Case is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Royal knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.
Case decides to take the fight back to the feet.
Case shoots in and bounces Royal off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Case slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Case stands up and waves to Royal to follow him.
OH! Case has been rocked by a huge right hand and is in deep trouble! Royal smells blood and charges in for the finish! Royal unloads a vicious overhand right and connects to the jaw of Case sending him face first to the canvas! Unbelievable!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:18 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punches). Eddy Royal!
