Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Blazed Gracie (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Razor Ramon (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Gracie comes to the cage accompanied by Ain't No Sunshine DMX. Razor Ramon has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Ramon fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Gracie sprawls well initially but Ramon persists and gets the takedown into half guard.
Gracie is looking for a sweep. Ramon is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
Gracie keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound.
Gracie gets back to full guard.
Gracie is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.
Ramon landing some decent shots from guard.

Gracie is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Ramon is aware though and is defending well.
Gracie manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Ramon can't escape the position.

Gracie looking for an armbar but decides to keep the dominant position instead.

Gracie moves into side control, trying to work for a kimura. That looks painful! Will he finish!!?? No, Ramon has worked his arm free - good work by Ramon!
An elbow from Gracie crashes against the mat.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Ramon tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Gracie wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.
Gracie wants to control but Ramon is keeping him busy.
Ramon has found himself in a tricky position here. He's been working his transitions in training so let's see if he can work his way out of it.
Gracie tries to score with some ground and pound. Ramon controls his posture well this time though and the shots don't do any damage.

Gracie has an Americana. Ramon didn't react quickly enough there and he's in big trouble now! He tries to squirm out but is forced to tap! Gracie is delighted and gyrates in front of the ring girls. They seem to like the attention - it'll be interesting to see if Gracie hooks up with any of them at the after show party.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:51 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Americana). Blazed Gracie!

A relieved looking Blazed Gracie thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
