Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Paul Gruel, Chris Saunders and Micheangelo Fripello.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jones lands an overhand right.
Jones fakes a jab and then connects with a hook.
Jones lands with a shot to the body.
Good shot there by Aleksandros.
Aleksandros throws a nice looking combination but Jones bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Aleksandros keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Jones.
Aleksandros misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Alexios Aleksandros seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Jones misses the jab.
Aleksandros throws a left and a right that both miss
letting Jones counter with a right hand.
Aleksandros looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Aleksandros will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

and Jones counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body.

Jones comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.
Jones dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Jones lands with an uppercut that bounces Aleksandros off the cage and back into range.
Aleksandros takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.
The fight moves into the clinch position.
Jones throws a head punch that misses.
Aleksandros breaks from the clinch.
Aleksandros throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Jones.
A telegraphed right hand from Aleksandros misses the target.
Jones throws a leg kick but he was too far away and it doesn't land.
Jones avoids a punch combination nicely.
Jones seems to be moving with more speed, compared to his last bout. He must have been working on that in the gym.
Aleksandros throws a combination that misses
and Jones counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Aleksandros thinking.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Aleksandros lands with a nice combination. Jones backs away looking to recover.

Jones clobbers Aleksandros with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.
Jones moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross.
Aleksandros has done a lot of speed work in the buildup to this fight.
Aleksandros connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Jones momentarily.
Jones lands with a cross to side of his opponent's head.
Aleksandros falls off balance throwing a combination
and Jones counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Aleksandros throws a jab when Jones was well out of range.
Aleksandros swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Jones counters with a nice right hand that sends Aleksandros toppling to the canvas! Aleksandros scrambles and gets back to his feet - can Jones finish him?!

and Jones counters with a lovely shot to the body.

Jones throws a hook but Aleksandros avoids it easily.
Aleksandros ducks under a wild hook from Jones.
Jones throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
Jones throws out a loose jab but Aleksandros uses good head movement to avoid it.
Aleksandros moves away from the strike by Jones.
Jones fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Aleksandros looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
Aleksandros slips under a jab from Jones.
Jones throws a shot from downtown. Aleksandros moves away and avoids it.
The fighters circling - Jones throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
Jones throws a hook but Aleksandros blocks it.
Aleksandros seems to have recovered his senses.
Jones clobbers Aleksandros with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.

Aleksandros looks up at the clock. Bad move! Jones lands a right hand from hell, dropping Aleksandros. Jones pounces and finishes the fight with a flurry of punches and elbows.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:07 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Sweet Jones!
After the fight, Sweet Jones was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.
