And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 7 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Joshua Perez!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Alamo feints and as Perez raises his hands in defense, Alamo changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.
We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.
Alamo trying to control the position from guard on top but Perez is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.

Alamo changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Perez looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Perez drops back looking for a leg! Alamo is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Alamo manages to kick Perez off! Perez jumps back into Alamo's guard.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Alamo is trying to maintain the position but Perez is very close to passing his half guard.

A momentary lapse in concentration from Perez enables Alamo to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Perez manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.
