Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Renato King (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Newbomb Turk (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). King comes to the cage accompanied by Supreme court hymn. Newbomb Turk looks lathargic as he enters the arena. Wake up son, you're about to have a fight!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 13 - 14 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Renato King!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 19 - 16 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Newbomb Turk!
The judges for this bout are Robert Twigg, Cecil Peabody and Stewart Dunkirk.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Turk stuffs the takedown.

King closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Turk did well to prevent King getting side control.

King is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Turk defends it well.
King landing with strikes to the body and head, softening up his opponent.
King wants to free his trapped foot but Turk is holding on for dear life with his legs.
King has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
King seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime.

Turk is trying to stand back up but King is controlling him
King takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position.
Turk has hold of King's hands but King slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow.

Turk is refusing to be controlled, as King sits in half guard.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. King lands a nice short elbow.

King stalling.
King wants to lay and pray for a moment but Turk keeps working.

The ref stands the fighters back up. Renato King wasn't doing enough on the ground.
King tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Turk swivels and escapes.
A punch combination from King misses.
Turk lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but King circles away quickly and effectively.
Turk throws a leg kick which misses King's front leg but catches the back leg as King tries to avoid it.

King swings away with a leg kick that misses.
Turk moves into range and connects with a jab.

King scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground.
King thows a huge punch but Turk dodges it nicely.
Turk regains full guard, whilst avoiding punches from King.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
King throws a big right hand that misses.
King showing good wrestling skills to control the position.
King wants to control from the top but Turk keeps moving.
King is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.

King makes a bit of distance and scores with some ground and pound, still in guard.
King postures up and lands some nice ground and pound.
King postures up and scores with a shot to the body and a follow up elbow to the head.
Turk trying to keep a closed guard but King is proving a slippery customer.
King controls from within his opponent's guard.
King's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.
Turk throws some sloppy strikes off his back.
King throws a big elbow that misses.
King controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling.

We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
King looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Renato King. That's going to take a lot out of him.
King throws a jab when Turk was well out of range.
Turk will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
King works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance.

It looks like Newbomb Turk has been cut.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
King looks to land a combination but Turk avoids it well.
Turk is on the wrong end of a nice combination from King.

Turk is rocked!
King throws a right hand that Turk ducks under and follows up with a left that Turk also avoids with ease.
Turk throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
King lands with a good body shot.
King scores with a spinning back kick!
Turk has tried to improve his agility in the runup to this fight.
King throws a mid kick that lands with a slap.

King closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - King lands in his opponent's guard.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Renato King dominated that round.
The cut man is working on Newbomb Turk's cut.
The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!

King rushes Turk with punches - Turk moves straight backwards instead of circling and gets clipped by the second strike... and the third... and the fourth! Oh, Turk goes down! King follows up with more strikes and the ref steps in to end the bout!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:05 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Renato King!
An out of breath Renato King thanked his loyal fans in his post fight interview, giving them credit for his success over the course of his career.
