Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Ryan Sonnen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Josef Urrah (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Urrah has chosen Johnny Cash - Oney as his entrance music. Josef Urrah told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

The judges for this bout are Gwen Towbar, Robert Twigg and Wesley Smith.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Urrah throws a right hand that Sonnen ducks under and follows up with a left that Sonnen also avoids with ease.
A shot to the liver by Urrah. Beautiful body shot.
Urrah misses with a lunging right hand
and Sonnen counters by clinching up.
Urrah escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Urrah doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.
Urrah misses with a straight left.
Urrah tries to keep at a distance but Sonnen has taken the fight into the clinch.
Sonnen stays in close to his opponent and throws a right hand to the body.
Sonnen misses with a body punch.
A nice left hand lands by Urrah.
Sonnen blocks a couple of punches on the inside.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Urrah feints and then cracks Sonnen's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Sonnen down.
Josef Urrah seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Sonnen gets cracked there but stands up to it.
Urrah lands a glancing blow to the side of Sonnen's head.
Sonnen throws a body shot but no joy.

Sonnen tries to close the distance and clinch up but Urrah swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Sonnen on the receiving end of a decent leg kick there by Urrah. Urrah obviously looking to wear him down.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Urrah throws a low kick but his opponent is out of range.
Urrah connects with a right hand. Sonnen shakes it off.
Sonnen tries to close the distance and clinch but Urrah swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.

Urrah uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Sonnen.

and Sonnen counters with a three punch combination, finished off with a leg kick. Nice work.

Urrah's jab looks to have found its range, popping Sonnen under the eye.
Urrah moves into range and lands a nice body kick.

Urrah does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy.
Sonnen keeps his opponent at a distance with a nice jab.
Urrah throws a leg kick which misses Sonnen's front leg but catches the back leg as Sonnen tries to avoid it.
Urrah misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Urrah cracks a nice hook into Sonnen's ribs.
Sonnen fails in his attempt to clinch.
Urrah ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Sonnen moves away.
Urrah misses with a body shot.
Urrah misses with a looping left.

Urrah misses with a low kick.
Sonnen tests Urrah's chin there with a solid looking shot.
Sonnen uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Urrah.
Sonnen gets cracked there but stands up to it.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Urrah throws a lazy right hand but Sonnen sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
A kick lands to the mid section there for Urrah.
Urrah lands with an overhand left.
A jab from Urrah finds it's way through Sonnen's defenses.
A big left from Urrah misses.
Urrah lands a lovely overhand right.
Urrah is landing a lot of head punches in this opening round! Sonnen had better start moving his head a bit unless he wants his face to turn into pâté.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Urrah lands a nice shot to the body.
Urrah uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook.
Sonnen gets in close and instigates a clinch.
Urrah is trying to break the clinch but Sonnen is controlling him.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Josef Urrah dominated that round.
That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.
Urrah throws a body punch but Sonnen moves out of range.
Good exchange - Urrah coming out on top.
Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Urrah lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Sonnen has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Sonnen and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.
Urrah looks to land a combination but Sonnen avoids it well.

Urrah swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.

and Sonnen counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
A big right from Urrah misses.
Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Sonnen, as that shot connected.
Urrah is rocked!
Urrah drops his hands momentarily. Sonnen doesn't need a second invitation, landing a shot to the temple. Urrah staggers and falls to the mat and the ref dives in to save him from any more punishment. Urrah doesn't seem happy with the stoppage but he was done.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:38 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Ryan Sonnen!
Ryan Sonnen gave a mention to VICIOUS FIGHT GEAR in his post fight interview. That will please them (and hopefully generate some sales).
Josef Urrah spoke after the fight, saying 'Man kan vara vinnare även om man
