The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Salazar tries to close the distance and clinch but Barnett swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Salazar tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Barnett paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Barnett fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
Barnett doesn't manage to clinch there - Salazar circles away.

Salazar passes easily into side control. Nice work.
Salazar is pausing for a moment. What's he doing? It looks like he's clearing his nose. Oh dude! He's shot a load of snot all down Barnett's shoulder. That is not cool.

Salazar is in a dominant position here, looking for a kimura. Barnett looks calm but he's in trouble here. Salazar gets his leg over his opponent's head and yanks on the arm. Barnett is tapping like a morse code operator on the titanic! SOS! SOS! Salazar lets go of the hold and Barnett can pop his arm back in it's socket.
