The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rook feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Strannes jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist!
Rook lands a jab to Stranne's midsection.
Stranne lands a nice looking kick to the body. Rook takes a step back to recover.
Rook rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Stranne moves out of range and avoids them all easily.

Rook has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from Stranne.
Rook moves out of range as Stranne throws a body kick.
Rook takes a head kick and keeps coming.
Rook looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Nathan Rook seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Rook throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.

Stranne connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Rook momentarily.
Rook takes a shot to the eye socket. That's gotta hurt.
Stranne buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.

Rook takes a nasty kick to the mid section... That should keep him thinking. Does he try and block and risk a head kick landing?

Rook has developed a nice purple lump on his ribcage, as a result of some heavy body kicks from Stranne.

Stranne throws the left hand but Rook avoids the punch easily.

Rook is throwing a lot of body shots here, looking to wear down Stranne rather than just go for the knockout.

Rook connects with a combination that backs up Stranne into the cage. Rook lands a flurry of punches that gets past Stranne's guard. Stranne is down and the referee has seen enough. It is all over! Rook bursts into tears - this win obviously means a huge amount to him.

Nathan Rook decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.
