Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Mika Takkala (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Milos Petrasek (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Milos Petrasek!
The judges for this bout are Roosa Järviläinen, Ben Zyskovitsi and Anni Minnemäki.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Takkala decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace.
Takkala throwing shots but Petrasek is blocking nicely.
Petrasek is controlling Takkala's position as best he can from this difficult position.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Petrasek makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Petrasek.

Takkala got a little sloppy there for a moment and Petrasek has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Takkala has managed to get both his arms back between Petrasek's legs - danger averted.
Takkala tries to free his leg and advance position but Petrasek is retaining full guard.

Takkala is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position.

Petrasek wants to control here, rather than go for any submissions from the bottom. At least for now.

The ref stands the fighters back up, due to lack of action by Milos Petrasek.
Takkala tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Petrasek defends well and Takkala ends up having to push Petrasek into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch.

Petrasek is working on a single leg takedown against the cage. Takkala can't fight it off and eventually Petrasek manages to take the fight to the floor. Takkala looks annoyed but at least he's managed to land in guard.

Takkala seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime.
Petrasek is not content to let Takkala control the position.
Petrasek is trying to maintain the position but Takkala is very close to passing his half guard.
Takkala prevents Petrasek from standing back up.
Takkala is stalling here. Petrasek is in no mood to hang around though. He's locked up a kimura from the bottom! Takkala seems to be keeping calm but he's forced to roll out of the hold and Petrasek has ended up in side control on the top. Nice work.
