Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Timothy Bourque (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Lyon Okiro (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bourque looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple.
Bourque takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.
Okiro scores with a kick to the midsection.
Okiro has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.
Bourque throws a hard body shot but it just misses.

Okiro closes the distance and clinches.
Bourque tries to break free but Okiro pushes him back against the cage.

Bourque definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Bourque has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Bourque there as he acknowledges the shot.

Okiro stuns Bourque with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range.
Bourque closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so.
Okiro misses with a few strikes there.
Okiro throws a body kick but he was well out of range there.
A head kick from Bourque lands but Okiro takes it in his stride.
Okiro feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Bourques jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist!
Okiro will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

Okiro is landing a lot of head punches in this opening round! Bourque had better start moving his head a bit unless he wants his face to turn into pâté.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Bourque really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

Okiro throws a right and a left that both miss.
Okiro throws a body kick but he was well out of range there.
Okiro avoids the head kick by Bourque.

Bourque lands a big right hand that sends Okiro crashing to the mat! Bourque stays standing though and waves Okiro back to his feet!

Okiro is rocked!
Bourque throws an uppercut from hell that sends Okiro clean off his feet! He's out cold! Bourque stands back and admires his work as he thinks about that KO of the night award that is surely being wrapped up for him back stage.

A relieved looking Timothy Bourque thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
