Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Santiago Riasco (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kvan Bearclaw (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Riasco kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is The Mexakinz ft. Xzibit - The Wake Up Show. Kvan Bearclaw has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of New York, Kvan Bearclaw!
The judges for this bout are John Kavanagh, Eddie Farnsworth and Chad Campbell.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Riasco gets caught napping as Bearclaw dives in and scores a takedown. Riasco manages to retain guard.
The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up.
Riasco wants to sweep here but Bearclaw controlling him for the moment.
Bearclaw has been taking part in the yoga sessions down at WildBoar's Pig Pen (Strength and Conditioning) $40. Presumably he's going to look for a slick submission... Or maybe he's looking to avoid one.

It looks like Bearclaw might be adopting somewhat of a lay and pray gameplan here, which I'm sure won't go down too well with the paying fans in attendance... Or the ring announcers come to think of it.

The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Bearclaw cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!

Riasco has gone for a leg lock! Bearclaw slips out almost immediately though and dives into Riasco's guard.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up, due to lack of activity on the part of Santiago Riasco.

Bearclaw closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.

Well Bearclaw has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
