Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Tor Hammeren (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kubla Khan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The judges for this bout are Shigeki Fujiwara, Yukihiro Yamamoto and Ren Mimura.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Hammeren.
Hammeren looks exhausted already! Oh dear, he should have come in in better shape than this!
Hammeren moves forwards but Khan connects with a nice, crisp jab.
Khan fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Hammeren to the ground. Khan is now in Hammeren's guard.

Khan drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Khan jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.
Khan looking to sit in guard and control but Hammeren gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.
Hammeren loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry.
Hammeren slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.

Hammeren trying to control the position from guard on top but Khan is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Hammeren has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player.

Hammeren definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.

Hammeren drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Khan dives on top into guard.

Khan got a little sloppy there for a moment and Hammeren has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Khan has managed to get both his arms back between Hammeren's legs - danger averted.
Khan pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Hammeren is keeping the position for now.
Khan throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent.
Khan trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat.
Hammeren is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Khan is aware though and is defending well.
Khan trying to control but Hammeren is working from the bottom.

Khan decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Hammeren, up you get!
Khan feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
Khan stands and steps away. Hammeren gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game.
Khan tries to clinch up
and Hammeren counters with a low kick, right behind Khan 's knee.
Khan tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Hammeren manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Khan wants to clinch but Hammeren slips to the side
and Hammeren counters with a flying knee. Nice.
Khan throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Hammeren.
Khan misses the shot to the body.

Hammeren drives through with a takedown into guard.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Hammeren thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.
Khan is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
Khan is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Hammeren defends well.
Khan manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Hammeren manages to get himself to full guard.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Kubla Khan dominated that round.
The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!
Khan shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Hammeren is trying to defend but Khan finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.
Hammeren tries to kick Khan off but Khan keeps his base steady and stays in half guard.
Khan blocks the strikes from Hammeren.
Khan working over Hammeren with some ground and pound. Hammeren looks like he wants out of this position, which is understandable.
Hammeren tries to get to full guard but Khan has control of the leg.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Khan decides to return to a standing position.
Khan tries a head kick but it misses.

Hammeren blocks a head kick by Khan.
Khan bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
Khan trying to control the action but Hammeren is working from the bottom.
Hammeren is in a bad spot here and he knows it... just holding on for now.
Hammeren wants to control but Khan postures up.

Hammeren looks to move to half guard but instead Khan has passed into mount! Damn!
Khan is giving the impression that he's looking to ground and pound but he switches suddenly into a beautiful far side armbar! Hammeren is forced to tap! Great finish!
