Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Rodrigo Caneiro (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jimmy Hare (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Jimmy Hare is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Excellent takedown into side control there by Caneiro.

Hare has an omoplata and is looking to use it perhaps as a submission or perhaps to transition. Caneiro is in a bit of discomfort here, but he's managed to free himself and has dived into side control! That didn't work out too well for Hare.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

Caneiro wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Hare, who protects the arm well.

Caneiro drops back, looking for a kneebar! Hare looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Hare looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Hare!

Hare has hold of Caneiro's arm here. He's working for an Americana. It looks like he might have it! Caneiro tries to escape but he's just digging himself in deeper - Hare cranks the arm and Caneiro screams in pain! The ref makes a decision and ends the fight before the tap - no complains from Caneiro, who is just happy to have his arm attached to his body.
