The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Gor drives through with a takedown into guard.
Potter keeping moving, preventing Gor from controlling successfully.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Gor accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
Gor looking to sit in guard and control but Potter gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.
Gor is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.

Irvin Potter has forced the referee to step in and bring the fight back to the feet.

Potter gets caught flat footed, as Gor shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.
Potter preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage.

Gor pushes down on Potter's leg and manages to get into half guard.
Potter is pressing down on Gor's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it.
Potter is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
