And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Seamon gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily

and Malapitan counters with a shoot takedown into half guard.
We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace.
Malapitan is figuring out what he wants to do next.
Seamon is looking for a sweep. Malapitan is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Malapitan trying to control from half guard but Seamon is working away.
Seamon pushes Malapitan off looking to stand but Malapitan dives back in and keeps control.
Malapitan takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists.

Seamon is staying active underneath Malapitan, who seems content to just control the action from this position.
Seamon is trying to defend against the ground and pound but Malapitan scores with a couple of nice shots.

Malapitan is working for a kimura but Seamon is defending it quite comfortably.
Malapitan looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Seamon with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.

Malapitan is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Seamon defends it well.

Malapitan uses his free foot to push down on Seamon's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Seamon.
Malapitan lands a big elbow.
BOOM! Malapitan connects with a massive shot to the dome!
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Malapitan lands with some vicious ground and pound - can Seamon hang on?

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Seamon wants to hold on but Malapitan pushes him away.
Seamon is squirming around, avoiding Malapitan's attempts to control the action.

Malapitan cracks Seamon with a big head shot that has him covering up instantly! He's rolled onto his side and the referee has seen enough - this one is aaaaaaaaaaall over!
