Slater bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
Slater throws a knee to the body but it doesn't do much damage.
Adams on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Adams tries to get out of the position.
Adams defending against the ground and pound.
Adams taking punishment in the form of punches.

Slater wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Adams, who protects the arm well.
Adams takes a nasty elbow to the side of the head.

Slater really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Adams. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Slater cracks Adams with an elbow. That is naaassty.
Oh Adams is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!
Adams tries to bench press Slater off him but Slater keeps the position.
Slater in side control lands a decent elbow.
Slater cracks Adams with a big elbow. Oh, he's hurt! Slater immediately mounts and start dropping bombs! Adams is done! The referee jumps in and saves him from any more punishment - a quick and decisive finish by Slater!
