Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Derek Burns (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Morinho Santos (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Burns comes into the arena with Wanted Dead or Alive blaring out of the sound system. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Burns has Santos up against the cage in a clinch.

Burns stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.

It looks like Morinho Santos has been cut.
Burns shapes like he's going to throw a leg kick but settles back down.
Burns throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Santos sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Burns misses with a body shot.
Burns is looking to clinch but Santos is avoiding it.
Santos keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.

letting Santos counter with a right hand.
Santos takes a shot to the eye socket. That's gotta hurt.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Burns takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it.
A telegraphed right hand from Santos misses the target.
Burns takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming.

Burns throws a hook but Santos blocks it.

Burns darts in and clinches Santos up against the cage.

Burns breaks from the clinch.
Santos connects with a good right hand that stumbles Burns. Burns circles away out of range and recomposes himself.
Burns is looking to clinch.
A decent looking cross lands there for Burns.
Burns looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
Burns ducks under a wild hook from Santos.
Burns tries to score with a low kick but Santos moves his leg out of the way.
Santos throws a right hand that Burns ducks under and follows up with a left that Burns also avoids with ease.
Burns connects with a nice looking jab.
Santos misses with a double jab
and Burns counters with a nice leg kick.
Burns looks to land a combination but Santos avoids it well.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

Burns lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw.
Burns moves to clinch but Santos breaks away
and Santos counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Santos falls off balance throwing a combination
and Burns counters with a nice body shot.
Santos throws a jab when Burns was well out of range.
Burns avoids a punch combination nicely.

Burns moves into the clinch.

Santos sends Burns crashing to the mat with a devastating uppercut! Santos is motioning to the referee to let Burns up. He wants to try and finish this one on the feet!
Oh Burns is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Santos ducks down and throws a big overhand right - it lands flush on the jaw, knocking Burns out cold! The fight is over!

After the fight, Morinho Santos was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.
