These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Maanpohja tries for a takedown but Alfredsson circles away easily
and Alfredsson counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.

Maanpohja feints and as Alfredsson raises his hands in defense, Maanpohja changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up.
Maanpohja postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.

Alfredsson has managed to work for a loose triangle. I think Maanpohja should be able to defend this one pretty easily though. Oh, Alfredsson has tightened it up now! Maanpohja should have reacted faster there - he's in big trouble and yes, he's tapped out! This one is all over!
