Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Max Terrell (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Damian May (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Terrell comes to the cage accompanied by Waking the Demon . Well, I have no idea who's going to take this one!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Terrell throws a series of punches but May avoids them all with ease.
Terrell looks for a takedown but May sprawls well.

May shoots in for a takedown and gets it.
May tries to pass to full mount but Terrell defends it.
Terrell is trying to get back to full guard.
May is thwarting Terrell's attempts to control the position.
May tries to stand and escape but Terrell is controlling the position.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Terrell has his foot on May's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. May works his way back into a safe position though.

Terrell is in a horrible position here. May smacks him with another shot as he tries to escape the position.

May unloads with some shots from mount but Terrell bucks and avoids them well.

May can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Terrell is looking to escape.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

May wants to control the pace but Terrell is squirming around nicely.

Terrell fails with the takedown

and May holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch.
May wants to get back to striking at distance but Terrell won't allow it.
May wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Terrell has him pressed against the cage.
May can't break the clinch.
Terrell landing knees to the body. They look like they could hurt.
Terrell keeps control of May as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks.
May tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Terrell smiles and moves away.
Terrell throws a right and a left that May avoids nicely.

and May counters with a nice uppercut.
Nice takedown defense from May. No joy for Terrell on that attempt.

Terrell closes the distance and clinches up with May, looking for a takedown. Terrell pushes May against the cage but May circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.

Terrell fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. May sprawls well initially but Terrell persists and gets the takedown into half guard.

Terrell bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in May's guard.

Terrell has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but May can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

Terrell shoots in for a double leg but May sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
The fight stays on the outside here - May looks like he's thinking about clinching though.

and May counters with a three punch combo that has Terrell backing up. Terrell nods at May to acknowledge the strikes.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

and May counters with a nice double leg into side control. Terrell won't be happy with that.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

May tries to land a sweep but no joy.
Terrell stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. May swivels though and keeps the full guard.

May not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.

Terrell drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but May manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Terrell has May in his guard.
