The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Strange is on the wrong end of a nice combination from Bengazzoni.
It looks like Simon Strange has been cut.
A telegraphed right hand from Bengazzoni misses the target.
Bengazzoni fakes a head shot and lands one to the body.

Strange has control of Bengazzoni's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and Bengazzoni regains control of the situation pretty easily.

I was talking to Bengazzoni's coach per-fight and he was telling me that they'd been working on the clinch in the runup to this fight.

Bengazzoni is trying to maintain a safe position but Strange gets an underhook and turns Bengazzoni into the cage.
Strange tries to land a shot to the body but it's blocked.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Bengazzoni is posturing up here but Strange has hold of an arm and he's gone for an armbar! Bengazzoni tries to roll out but it's too tight and Bengazzoni has to tap! Slick submission there by Strange!
