Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between John Howard (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Toki Mazuke (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Howard's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, Manafest - Fire In The Kitchen. Toki Mazuke acknowledges the crowd's support as he enters the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 35 - 18 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, John Howard!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 8 - 8 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Toki Mazuke!
The judges for this bout are Timothy Bukovac, and Jack Bonds.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Howard connects with a body shot that sends Mazuke's belly button to the back.
Mazuke shoots in for a double leg but Howard sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Howard tries to bum rush Mazuke with a series of wild strikes but Mazuke uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Howard shuffles to his left behind two crisp jabs. Mazuke eats them both and turns towards Howard to reposition himself and eats a stinging right hand-left hook combo.
Mazuke shoots in looking for a takedown. Howard tries to sprawl out of it but Mazuke keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Howard manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Howard leaves Mazuke with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
John Howard has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Toki Mazuke.

Howard will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Mazuke takes a swing at Howard's ribcage but misses.
Mazuke showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Howard.
Howard fails to land with a series of punches.
Mazuke looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Howard lands a head shot.
Howard scores to the head and body with a nice combination!
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Mazuke tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Howard defends well and Mazuke ends up having to push Howard into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch.
Mazuke should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete.

Howard breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.

John Howard seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Howard stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Howard wants it to stay on the feet.
Howard lands a jab followed by a nice looking cross.
Howard dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Mazuke looks winded!
Ohhhhh! A huge head kick from Howard! Mazuke is out on his feet! Howard rushes in and throws more strikes. The ref is looking closely - Mazuke is covering up but the punishment is just too much and the ref steps in to stop the fight! Mazuke is staring into space, just thankful that the beatdown has ended. Brutal finish.
