Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jack Nicklaus (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Buster Grimes (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Nicklaus might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Maino f.Busta Rhymes Jim Jones Gucci Mane Yo Gotti Trae The Truth - Mobbin . Grimes has chosen THE JOKER as his entrance music. I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 27 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Jack Nicklaus!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 33 - 12 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Buster Grimes!
The judges for this bout are Josh West, Colin Fray and Paul Gruel.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Grimes looks to land a left hand but Nicklaus moved out of range nicely.
Nicklaus throws a hook but Grimes blocks it.
Grimes uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Nicklaus.
Nicklaus goes for a spinning back kick but it misses.
Grimes thows a leg kick but Nicklaus checks it

and Nicklaus counters with a takedown into side control! That could mean trouble for Grimes!
Grimes parries the strikes from Nicklaus easily there. Nicklaus is wary of posturing up too much because it might enable Grimes to escape.
Grimes is looking to regain half guard here but Nicklaus keeps moving and retains side control.
Grimes keeps trying to improve his position.
Nicklaus tries to advance position but instead Grimes slips a leg back in to half guard.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Nicklaus throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man.
Grimes tries to roll over but Nicklaus keeps him under control.
Grimes is positioning himself well to prevent Nicklaus advancing to mount.
Grimes is refusing to be controlled, as Nicklaus sits in half guard.
Nicklaus takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Nicklaus wants to lay and pray for a moment but Grimes keeps working.
Nicklaus is really struggling to control Grimes but he's trying to hold on to the position.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

The ref stands the fighters back up. Jack Nicklaus wasn't doing enough on the ground.
Grimes connects with a good right hand that stumbles Nicklaus. Nicklaus circles away out of range and recomposes himself.
Grimes throws a leg kick but he was too far away and it doesn't land.
Nicklaus digs a good body shot into Grimes's ribs.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Nicklaus swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Nicklaus looks to land a right hand but Grimes moved out of range.
Grimes pulls out of a head kick attempt.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Nicklaus misses with a low kick.
Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Grimes.
Ooooh, nice body kick lands from Nicklaus. Grimes shrugs it off though.
Nicklaus throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Grimes works over Nicklaus's head and body with a nice combination.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Nicklaus uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Grimes.
Grimes takes a body kick right on the floating rib. Ouchie.

Nicklaus just misses with a punch to the body.
A solid body kick from Nicklaus.
Grimes tries to land a front kick but Nicklaus steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed.
Grimes walks forward and throws out a flicking leg kick. Nicklaus checks it nicely though, as he moves to the side.
Nicklaus closes the distance and clinches up with Grimes, looking for a takedown. Nicklaus pushes Grimes against the cage but Grimes circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Buster Grimes seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Nicklaus cracks Grimes with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd.
Grimes throws a low kick but Nicklaus avoids it.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Nicklaus connects with a jab.
Nicklaus bobs and weaves and then throws a good body kick.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That was a close round but I would say that Jack Nicklaus will probably get the nod.
The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!


Grimes throws a half hearted mid kick.
Nicklaus throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Grimes tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Nicklaus was well out of range. Poor timing from Grimes.
Buster Grimes seems to be getting the better of the standup.
A low kick from Grimes misses

and Nicklaus decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Grimes's guard.
Grimes keeping moving, preventing Nicklaus from controlling successfully.
Nicklaus distracts Grimes with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm.

Jack Nicklaus overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Nicklaus wants to pass the guard but Grimes is keeping the position.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

There's a bit of a scramble here and now Grimes is on top in guard.
It really doesn't seem like the step up in weight is hurting Nicklaus here at all. He's more than holding his own against the bigger man.
Nicklaus pulls Grimes in close to prevent any damage.
Nicklaus looking to sweep here. No luck so far.

The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work.
Grimes content to stall in guard here.

The ref stands the fighters back up. Jack Nicklaus wasn't doing enough on the ground.
Nicklaus misses with a jab to the body
and Grimes counters with a low kick, right behind Nicklaus 's knee.
Nicklaus misses with a head kick.
Nicklaus lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Grimes misses with a low kick.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Nicklaus will need to close the distance a bit before he attacks - that leg kick was thrown from too far away.
Grimes comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.
Grimes throws a half hearted mid kick.
Grimes has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Grimes there as he acknowledges the shot.
Buster Grimes is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Nicklaus throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Grimes misses with a straight right.
A jab from Grimes finds it's way through Nicklaus's defenses.
Nicklaus with a body punch. A glancing blow.

Nicklaus misses the shot to the body.
Nicklaus checks a low kick from Grimes.

Grimes misses with an attempted mid kick.
A good leg kick by Grimes.
Good exchange - Grimes coming out on top.
Grimes scores with a punch to the head.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

Grimes misses with a low kick.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That was a close second round but I would say that Jack Nicklaus will probably get the nod.
The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. This is the final round!


Nicklaus on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those.

Nicklaus walks into a stiff left hand from Grimes.

Grimes sends Nicklaus crashing to the mat with a devastating uppercut! Grimes is motioning to the referee to let Nicklaus up. He wants to try and finish this one on the feet!


Nicklaus is rocked!
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Nicklaus throws a sloppy head kick and Grimes moves out of range easily.
Oh Nicklaus is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Grimes seems to be stalking Nicklaus here. He circles momentarily and then unleashes a devastatic head kick! Nicklaus drops like a stone, out cold! WOW! Are you kidding me!? What a knockout!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:36 of round 3, we have a winner by way of KO (Head Kick). Buster Grimes!
