Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Frank Brody (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Rock Lee (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Brody might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Tom Petty - Won't Back Down. Lee is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Started From The Bottom. This should be fireworks!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Brody missing with a left hand there. Lee was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
Brody throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
A decent looking cross lands there for Brody.
Brody misses with a straight left.
Lee moves out of range of the leg kick from Brody.
Brody ducks under a wild hook from Lee.

Brody lands with a right hand.
Brody's corner calls for a 1-2. Brody obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range.

Lee lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.

Lee throws a looping overhand right but Brody ducks down to avoid it.

Lee clinches up with Brody and pushes him back against the cage.

Brody throws a blind hook that connects with the side of Lees head.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Brody breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Brody shuffles to his left behind two crisp jabs. Lee eats them both and turns towards Brody to reposition himself and eats a stinging right hand-left hook combo.

Brody bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Lee's head backwards.
Brody lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Lee circles away quickly and effectively.

Lee displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Brody throws out the jab.

Lee's coach down at Monstar Training Center was telling us pre-fight that they have been working on Lee's balance. Obviously they view that as a key factor in the outcome of this fight.

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

Brody throws a punch but it's blocked by Lee.

Brody ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Brody no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard.
We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon.

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.

Brody is looking for a triangle but Lee pushes his legs off easily.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Lee really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Brody. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Brody is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Lee defends well.

Lee stands over his opponent and dives in with a flying punch! Brody throws up his legs and catches Lee in a triangle! Oh this looks tight! Lee tries to escape but he's forced to tap! Wow, fantastic work there by Brody! That came out of nowhere!
