Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Marc Small!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Lagar Prechnyan!
The judges for this bout are Paulsen Ambrosius, Daniel Blasius and Wagner Zegers.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Small has taken the fight to the clinch.
Small drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Prechnyan gets the underhooks and prevents it.
Small's head jolts backwards as he takes an uppercut right on the button!


It looks like Marc Small has been cut.

Small breaks from the clinch.
Prechnyan lands a head kick. Small smiles back at him and beckons him forward.
Small shoots in for a double leg but Prechnyan sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Some wild striking there from Prechnyan.
Prechnyan misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.

Small moves into range and clinches up with Prechnyan.
Prechnyan is trying to break free.
Small drops down for a takedown but doesn't get it.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Marc Small. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Small is working for a takedown up against the cage. He can't get it on this occasion though.

Small goes for a takedown in the clinch but Prechnyan prevents it.
Small tries for a takedown but Prechnyan manages to get underhooks.

Small decides to pull guard.
Prechnyan trying to control the position from guard on top but Small is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Prechnyan controls the pace of the fight for a moment.
Both fighters really going for it on the ground here!

The ref calls for a clean break and stands the fighters back up. Lagar Prechnyan wasn't active enough on the ground.
Small wants to clinch.
Small fails with the takedown
and Prechnyan counters with a flying knee. Nice.

Small is on the wrong end of a nice combination from Prechnyan.
Small really is a fat lump.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Prechnyan fakes the leg kick and cracks Small in the body.
Prechnyan has been working on his striking defense in training and it's paying off as Small is landing a low percentage of strikes.
Small is breathing heavily.
Small blocks a head kick by Prechnyan.
Prechnyan throws a combination. Small tries to block but a couple of punches get through.
Lagar Prechnyan seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Prechnyan throws a head kick that misses.
Prechnyan fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Small.
Prechnyan tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Prechnyan misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Prechnyan throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.

A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Small.
Prechnyan throws a quick head kick that skims the top of Small's head.

Prechnyan lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Small circles away quickly and effectively.
Prechnyan pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Small fails with a takedown attempt.
Left hook, right uppercut from Prechnyan.


Small is rocked!
Small is holding his hands too far apart here. Prechnyan throws a hard, straight punch right down the pipe and BOOM! Small is out! That punch landed square on the jaw - what a shot!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:44 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Lagar Prechnyan!
An out of breath Lagar Prechnyan thanked his loyal fans in his post fight interview, giving them credit for his success over the course of his career.
