Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Dave Barrerra (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and David Bordoy (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Bordoy has chosen beats on a string as his entrance music. We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bordoy fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
Barrerra misses with a few strikes there.
Bordoy gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there.
Bordoy throws a hook to the side of Barrerra's head but Barrerra sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Bordoy shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Barrerra pinned against the cage. Barrerra gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Bordoy bobs and weaves and then throws a good body kick.
Bordoy shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Dave Barrerra has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of David Bordoy.
Bordoy doesn't manage to clinch there - Barrerra circles away.

The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Barrerra cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!

Bordoy dodges the punch combination from Barrerra.
Bordoy tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Barrerra closes the distance and clinches up with Bordoy, looking for a takedown. Barrerra pushes Bordoy against the cage but Bordoy circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Barrerra shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Bordoy pinned against the cage. Bordoy gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.

Bordoy stands up from half guard... He's had enough of that ground malarky for the time being.
Bordoy shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Barrerra as he jumps to the side.

That's time! Barrerra's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight. This is the final round!

Barrerra is trying to trip Bordoy. He has hold of a leg but Bordoy is hopping around, keeping his balance for the moment. Barrerra persists though and gets the takedown into guard.

Bordoy is staying calm and holding on to the back position, whilst working on a rear naked choke. Barrerra is defending well though. Bordoy let's go of the attempt for now.

The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.
Bordoy keeps control of the position as Barrerra tries to break free.
Even with his hooks in, Bordoy manages to miss with strikes from the back.

Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!

I would just about give that final round to David Bordoy.
I think Barrerra has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
