Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Lou Thomas (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Zin Foe (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The atmosphere really building for this one as we go over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 3 - 0, fighting out of London, Lou Thomas!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Zin Foe!
The judges for this bout are Donald Grub, Chris Edwards and Phil Schofield.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Foe shoots in but no luck this time.

Thomas forces Foe back against the cage and clinches.
We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Foe has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat.
Thomas throws a blind hook that connects with the side of Foes head.

Foe doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.

Come on Thomas - let's have some action - none of this stalling nonsense.

That's time! Back to the action! So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.


Foe shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Thomas as he jumps to the side.

Foe shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Thomas manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.
The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet.

Thomas knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Foe on the ground.

Foe wants to work for an arm triangle but Thomas is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.
Foe prevents Thomas from standing back up.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Both fighters are breathing heavily.

Foe has hold of the far side arm. He's working for the Kimura, can Thomas defend it? Foe steps over the head and cranks it - Thomas is tapping out! That was textbook stuff right there - nice submission victory for Foe!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:58 of round 3, we have a winner by way of Submission (Kimura). Zin Foe!
Our winner, Zin Foe, made sure he spent some time buttering up the crowd during his post fight interview, which will no doubt bring him a few more fans.
