Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Bob Calhoun!
The judges for this bout are Robert Twigg, Stewart Dunkirk and Wesley Smith.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Green misses with a head kick.
Green moves in looking to clinch but Calhoun pushes him off.

Calhoun fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Green, pushing him back against the cage.
Green scores a nice knee to the body.
Calhoun looks gassed!
Both guys are working to get underhooks.
Green is stalling here. The referee will be looking to step in if he doesn't pick up the pace.
Calhoun misses the knee to the body. Nice hip positioning from Green.
Green is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Calhoun pulls him back up using the underhooks.
Calhoun tries to land a knee to the head but misses.

It looks like Bob Calhoun has been cut.
The pace slowing considerably in the clinch, as Green takes a break from that fighting nonsense to think about the finer things in life.

Green could do with loosing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.

Green has moved round to his opponent's back and is looking for a suplex! Oh snap! He's tossed Calhoun clear over his head and slammed him to the mat!
Calhoun is taking damage to the body and head.
Green is controlling his opponent, waiting for an opportunity to finish.
Can Calhoun hold on?! Green is landing more strikes to his hapless foe.

Green is working really hard to secure the rear naked choke. Calhoun defends successfully for a significant amount of time. Both fighters are looking very determined.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Green lands with a couple of good shots - one to the side of the head and one questionable shot that could be viewed as to the back of the head but the referee lets it go.

Green has his opponent pinned against the cage, landing some nasty ground and pound that is really making a bit of a mess out of Calhoun's face.

Calhoun really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Green. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Green has control of Calhoun's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and Calhoun regains control of the situation pretty easily.
Calhoun is desperately trying to improve his position but Green has a good base and remains in mount.

Calhoun tries to get back to half guard but can't.
Calhoun swinging wildly from the bottom but he's not landing.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.

Green has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

Green is really struggling to control Calhoun but he's trying to hold on to the position.
Well, if Green is going to just lie there, perhaps we should talk about what we're having for dinner tonight… I'm having a ham and pineapple pizza… Yum. Can't wait.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Green accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

Green throws some shoulder strikes here and then postures up. Oh, he's gone for an armbar! Calhoun has his hands clasped together but Green breaks the hold and Calhoun is forced to tap! This one is aaaaaaaaaaall over! That was lightning fast by Green!
