The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Burroughs gets the takedown into side control.
We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.
Gump can't do much from the bottom here.
Gump stops Burroughs from passing to mount.

Burroughs is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Gump is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.

Jordan Burroughs has forced the referee to step in and restart the fight on the feet.
Gump looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Gump shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Burroughs but Burroughs pushes him off and we're back to square one.

Burroughs keeps the fight in the clinch, despite Gump's efforts to push away.

Burroughs ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Burroughs no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard.

Burroughs wants to control from the top but Gump keeps moving.

Burroughs content to sit in guard, stalling... Great. Oh but he could get punished here because Gump has locked up a guillotine! Gump's face is contorted as he sqeezes tight on the submission attempt - will he finish? Burroughs is holding on here and Gump must be using up a lot of energy. Burroughs has gone limp! He's out! He's out cold! Gump gets to his feet, tossing aside his stricken foe. Arms raised, he milks the applause from the crowd. Great submission!
