The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Calhoun jabbing away but nothing is landing.

and Bizimana counters with a crisp one two that drops Calhoun! Bizimana thinks about following him to the mat for a moment but instead steps back and waves Calhoun to his feet! Calhoun is in big trouble!

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Calhoun looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Oh Calhoun is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Calhoun shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Bizimana sprawls well. Bizimana wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Calhoun gets slowly back to his feet.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Bizimana lands with an uppercut that bounces Calhoun off the cage and back into range.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!

Calhoun changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Bizimana tries to avoid it but Calhoun manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Bizimana to the ground. Bizimana escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Calhoun seems to have got his legs back now.
Calhoun is looking to clinch but Bizimana is avoiding it.
Bizimana leaves Calhoun with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
Bizimana bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Calhoun's head.

Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Calhoun.

Calhoun tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Bizimana manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Calhoun lands a head kick. Bizimana smiles back at him and beckons him forward.
Bizimana connects with a good right hand that stumbles Calhoun. Calhoun circles away out of range and recomposes himself.

Calhoun wants to clinch up but Bizimana keeps it at a distance.
Bizimana connects with a body shot that sends Calhoun's belly button to the back.

Bizimana throws a sloppy head kick and Calhoun moves out of range easily.
Calhoun has been working on his balance at Shitty Training Facility (Product Recall), so perhaps that has help him stuff some of the takedown attempts by Bizimana.
Calhoun will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.

Calhoun wants to clinch.
This is turning into a torrid day at the office for Calhoun. He's trying desperately to land a takedown but he's failing miserably and getting slapped silly on the feet to compound his misery.
Bizimana throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Calhoun stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
Bizimana cracks Calhoun with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage.

Bizimana cracks Calhoun with a big right hand that sends him crashing to the floor. Bizimana has the opportunity to follow him to the ground but instead he's beckoning Calhoun to stand back up!
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Calhoun throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Bizimana cracks Calhoun with a nasty uppercut that draws ooohs from the crowd and sends Calhoun tumbling backwards onto the mat. He tries to recover but Bizimana pounces and lands a hail of unanswered strikes that forces the referee to step in to end the fight! Calhoun is not happy but he gave the referee no choice!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:50 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Benoit Bizimana!
Our winner, Benoit Bizimana, made sure he spent some time buttering up the crowd during his post fight interview, which will no doubt bring him a few more fans.
