PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Kenneth Omeruo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dick Dungheap (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Omeruo might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to The Hunger Games Whistle. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Omeruo wants to slow Dungheap down by chopping away at his legs.
The crowd cheers as Dungheap lands an impressive looking overhand right. Omeruo doesn't seem phased though.
Dungheap's coach down at Island Premium 20x CT's was telling us pre-fight that they have been working on Dungheap's balance. Obviously they view that as a key factor in the outcome of this fight.
Omeruo connects with a leg kick. Dungheap looked like he was expecting something else and didn't defend it.

Omeruo seems to be moving with more speed, compared to his last bout. He must have been working on that in the gym.

Dungheap lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.

That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Dungheap crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Omeruo - the referee stops the clock and Dungheap gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Omeruo. Dungheap manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.
