Jones comes to the cage accompanied by Professor Green - Monster . The crowd giving both fighters a great reception on their way into the arena. That's good to see.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 17 - 9 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Lee Wilson!
The judges for this bout are Stewart Dunkirk, Wesley Smith and Gwen Towbar.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jones misses with a leg kick.
Jones stuns Wilson with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range.
Wilson throws a shot to the body.
Jones just misses with a punch to the body.
Jones throws a nice outside leg kick.
A chopping leg kick lands by Wilson.
Wilson throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Wilson jabs Jones to the body, keeping him at a distance.
Wilson lands a leg kick and bounces back out of range.
Wilson keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Wilson scores with a nice body kick.
Jones has been working on his boxing with his coaches at The Post Office in the buildup to the fight.
Jones bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Wilson's head.

Jones throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.

Jones throws a push kick but Wilson slaps the foot to one side.
Jones blocks a head kick by Wilson.
Jones fakes a head shot and lands one to the body.
Wilson throws a head kick but Jones moves out of range.
The fighters circling - Jones throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
Jones cracks the inside of Wilson's front leg.
Wilson misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.

Jones fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Wilson manages to avoid it.
Jones uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Wilson.

A looping hook to the body misses from Jones. Wilson does a little dance to reset his feet.

Jones throws an overhand right that lands on Wilson's shoulder, as Wilson tries to avoid the shot.
Jones lunges at Wilson with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Wilson's hand.
Jones scores with a kick to the midsection.

Jones is looking to wear down Wilson with body shots, infact he's throwing more body shots than head shots at the moment.

Jones throws a body kick that sends a sickening thudding noise reverberating around the arena.

Lee Wilson seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
A decent looking body kick lands there for Wilson.
Jones goes for a spinning back kick but it misses.
Wilson misses with a low kick.
Wilson connects with a leg kick. Jones looked like he was expecting something else and didn't defend it.
Jones bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Wilson's head backwards.

Wilson shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Wilson showed some decent athleticism there.
The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet.

Jones is looking to improve his position.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Wilson misses with a double jab

and Jones holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch.
Still in the clinch, Wilson scores with a nice short uppercut.

Wilson decides to pull guard.
Jones wants to control from the top but Wilson keeps moving.
We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.

Wilson looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
Jones wants to stand but Wilson is controlling his posture from full guard.

Jones scoring with some ground and pound.

Wilson throwing his legs up looking for a triangle.
Wilson will have to put a bit more behind his punches if he's going to do any damage from this position.
Wilson pulls Jones in close to his closed guard and prevents Jones from doing any damage or advancing position.
Jones looking to control the position here, rather than advance.

Wilson working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Jones doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Jones manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

The ref stands the fighters back up because Michael Jones just wasn't active enough.

That kick from Wilson tenderised Jones's leg. Jones is trying to keep his angry face on.

Michael Jones is winning the standup battle so far.
Jones moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross.
Jones's jab looks to have found its range, popping Wilson under the eye.

That kick from Jones tenderised Wilson's leg. Wilson is trying to keep his angry face on.
Jones feints with a jab and clips Wilson right behind the ear with a massive overhand right! Wilson is sent crashing into the canvas and Jones leaps in for the kill! Wilson tries to get to his feet but Jones is just battering him from every conceivable angle. The ref decides that Wilson is in need of a savior and steps in!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:54 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Michael Jones!
A very excited looking Michael Jones made sure he remembered to thank all the fans both in the arena and on the internet. He said all the coolest people spend all day on MMA websites, which got a big reaction.
