The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Conca looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? DeSouza is fending him off so far but Conca persists. Nope, DeSouza circles away and we're back to standing.
DeSouza wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Conca bucks up and manages to get a nice reversal! He's in guard on the top - nicely done!
